Abstract
This standard specifies the test methods and evaluation for the flushability of disposable hygiene nonwoven materials, including pre-test of wet tensile strength, toilet and drainage pipe cleaning test, shaking box decomposition test, household pump test, settling test, aerobic biodegradation/decomposition test, anaerobic biodegradation/decomposition test, and municipal sewage pump test, a total of 8 tests and evaluation methods.
This standard applies to disposable hygiene nonwoven materials that are claimed to be directly thrown into the toilet for dispersion and degradation, including dry/wet wipes for infants and children, dry/wet wipes for female care, and toilet wipes, etc.
