Abstract
This section specifies a sampling inspection system for counting. This section uses the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) to search for defects.
The purpose of this section is to put economic and psychological pressure on suppliers so that they can keep the average quality level of their processes below the specified acceptable quality limit, while at the same time providing an upper limit for the probability of the user receiving defective batches. The sampling plan specified in this section can be used for (but is not limited to) the following inspections:
