Abstract
This part of GB/T 18216 specifies the requirements for insulation monitoring devices (IMDs). Insulation monitoring devices continuously monitor the grounding insulation resistance of ungrounded AC IT systems and ungrounded DC IT systems. For AC IT systems with DC circuits electrically connected, the nominal voltage is less than 1,000 V AC, and for ungrounded DC IT systems, the nominal voltage is less than 1,500 V DC, regardless of the measurement method.
