GB/T 3792.4-2009 Bibliographical description—Part 4:Non-book materials
Abstract
This part of GB/T 3792 specifies the cataloguing items for non-book materials, the order of the cataloguing items, the use of identifiers for cataloguing, the sources of cataloguing information, and the detailed rules for cataloguing each item.
This part is applicable to information resources recorded on magnetic or sensory materials in the form of sound, images, text, etc., such as audio products, film products, video products, microforms, projection products, graphic products, models, etc.
Separate standards are provided for the analytical cataloguing of non-book materials and electronic resources recorded on other carriers, such as electronic books, electronic journals, electronic dissertations, electronic maps, DVDs, VCDs, CDs, etc.
