Abstract
This section applies to the following types of thyristors:
—— (reverse-blocking) (tripolar) thyristors;
—— asymmetric (reverse-blocking) (tripolar) thyristors;
—— reverse-conducting (tripolar) thyristors;
—— bidirectional tripolar thyristors;
—— gate-turn-off thyristors (GTO thyristors).
This section does not apply to thyristor surge suppressors and bidirectional diode thyristors.
