Abstract
This standard specifies the purpose of environmental testing for medical electrical equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment"), environmental grouping, transportation testing, adaptability to power supply, reference test conditions, special circumstances, testing procedures, testing sequence, testing requirements, testing methods, and the detailed rules that should be stipulated when referring to this standard.
This standard applies to all electrical equipment or electrical systems that meet the definition of medical devices.
