GB/T 778.1-2018 Meters for cold potable water and hot water—Part 1:Metrological requirements and technical requirements
Abstract
This part of GB/T 778 specifies the metrological and technical requirements for drinking cold water meters and hot water meters that measure water flow in closed full pipes and are equipped with cumulative flow indication devices. This part is applicable to water meters based on mechanical principles, as well as those based on electrical or electronic principles and those based on mechanical principles with electronic devices, used to measure the volumetric flow of drinking cold water and hot water. This part is also applicable to electronic auxiliary devices that are typically provided as optional accessories. However, national regulations may stipulate that certain optional accessories are essential auxiliary devices for the use of water meters.
