Abstract
This document specifies the EDD interpretation of EDD applications and EDD files to support EDD interoperability. This document aims to ensure that field device developers consistently use the EDD structure, and that EDD applications have the same EDD interpretation. The EDD specification is supplemented to promote interoperability between EDD applications and improve portability among EDD applications.
