GB/T 12009.4-2016 Plastics—Aromatic isocyanates for use in the production of polyurethane—Part 4:Determination of isocyanate content
Abstract
This part of GB/T 12009 specifies two methods for determining the content of isocyanate groups in aromatic isocyanates used in the production of polyurethane.
Method A of this part is suitable for refined toluene diisocyanate (hereinafter referred to as TDI), diphenylmethane diisocyanate (hereinafter referred to as MDI), polymeric MDI, and their prepolymers; Method B is suitable for refined, crude, or modified isocyanates obtained from TDI, MDI, and polymeric MDI, and also for mixtures of isomers of TDI, MDI, and polymeric MDI. Other isocyanates that have been proven to be suitable can also be tested using this method.
This part is not applicable to capped isocyanates.
