GB/T 24842-2018 Overvoltage and insulation coordination of 1 000 kV UHV AC transmission project
Abstract
This standard specifies the measures to limit overvoltage in 1,000 kV power transmission and transformation projects and the overvoltage levels after the adoption of these measures; recommends calculation and analysis methods for the lightning performance of overhead lines and substations; and provides principles, methods, and recommended values for determining the insulation levels and air gap distances of equipment based on the insulation characteristics of 1,000 kV transmission lines and substation equipment and possible influencing factors, from the perspectives of safe operation and economic rationality.
This standard applies to overvoltage and insulation coordination in AC power transmission and transformation projects with a nominal voltage of 1,000 kV (the maximum system voltage is 1,100 kV).
