Abstract
This standard specifies the principles, foundation, and control reference system for the coordination of dimensions of ship accommodation rooms; the determination of control lines and control dimensions; the positioning of components; the selection and assembly of component and assembly dimensions; and the coordination of dimensions of major furniture and equipment.
This standard applies to the design and layout of accommodation rooms on civilian ships.
