GB/T 21476-2008 Ships and marine technology—Fire resistance of hose assemblies—Requirements for the test bench
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for test benches used to determine the fire resistance performance of hose assemblies with a nominal diameter of not less than 100 mm in accordance with the test methods prescribed in GB/T 21477. When exposed to flames, they can withstand a working pressure of not more than 10 bar. The flame propagation test of hoses cannot use the test benches specified in this standard. The test medium is only allowed to be water. To ensure the maximum safety of operators and test benches in the event of hose damage during the test, it is prohibited to use flammable test media.
