Abstract
This standard specifies the absolute brightness level, white point chromaticity, and brightness uniformity of the screen reflected light when using digital light engines to project movies in screening rooms and commercial cinemas. The purpose of this standard is to ensure that the color gamut and contrast of the projected images are restored to the effects consistent with those achieved during the production of digital film masters. This standard applies to the detection of the absolute brightness, chromaticity, and brightness uniformity of the screen reflected light when using digital light engine projectors to project movies in screening rooms and commercial cinemas.
