This document specifies the technical requirements for the wiring of electrical cabinets and cables installed on locomotives and rolling stock, as well as the wiring, marking, and wiring inspection based on EMC categories. This document applies to the wiring of copper conductors (excluding special cases such as optical cables or hollow conductors (waveguides)) between electrical equipment (including cables, busbars, terminal strips, terminals, plugs, and sockets) of locomotives, EMUs, passenger cars, urban rail vehicles, and maglev vehicles, and those related to power transmission and distribution, power collection, electrical control, or system monitoring. This document does not apply to locomotives and rolling stock used for other purposes (such as engineering vehicles, industrial and mining special vehicles, etc.).
