Abstract
This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the test methods for the bandwidth of multimode optical fibers, and establishes unified requirements for test devices, injection conditions, procedures, calculation methods, and results. This part is applicable to the measurement of the bandwidth of Class A1 multimode optical fibers and the commercial inspection of finished optical fiber cables. It is not applicable to the measurement of the bandwidth of Class B single-mode optical fibers.
