Abstract
This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the unified requirements for measuring the sensitivity of optical fibers to macro-bending. This part is applicable to measuring the macro-bending loss of Class B single-mode optical fibers at wavelengths of 1550nm or 1625nm, and Class A1 multi-mode optical fibers at wavelengths of 850nm and/or 1300nm, in order to test the sensitivity of optical fibers to macro-bending at specified wavelengths. This part is applicable to the commercial inspection of optical fibers and cables.
