This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and accompanying documents for liquid scintillation counters.
This standard applies to liquid scintillation counters (hereinafter referred to as instruments).
This standard does not include the calculation of the activity of unknown samples with quenching.
