Abstract
This document describes the principles, testing equipment, samples, testing procedures, result calculation, and test records for determining the modulus of rupture of wood in the cross-grain direction, including the modulus of rupture in the entire cross-grain direction and the modulus of rupture in the local cross-grain direction. This document is applicable to the determination of the modulus of rupture of flawless small wood samples in the cross-grain direction.
