The chapter of GB/T 4706.1—2024 is replaced by the following content.
This document specifies the safety requirements for gas, fuel, and solid fuel appliances with electrical connections for household and similar use.
This document applies to single-phase appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, and other appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480 V for household and similar use with electrical connections for gas, fuel, and solid fuel appliances.
This document also applies to appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a danger to the public, such as appliances intended for use by non-professionals in shops, light industry, and farms.
This document covers the electrical safety and some other safety aspects of such appliances. When the appliances also comply with the relevant standards for fuel appliances, all safety aspects are covered. If the appliances contain electric heating sources, the safety aspects related to these power sources are covered when the appliances also comply with the relevant special requirements of GB/T 4706.
