Abstract
This part of GB/T 25000 provides requirements, recommendations, and guidelines for the evaluation of software product quality, particularly applicable to developers, customers, and independent evaluators. This part is not limited to any specific application field and can be used for the quality evaluation of any type of software product. It provides a process description for the evaluation of software product quality and outlines the specific requirements for applying the evaluation process from the perspectives of developers, customers, and independent evaluators. The evaluation process can be used for different purposes and methods, and can also be applied to the evaluation of software product quality for pre-developed software, commercial off-the-shelf software, or customized software, as well as during or after the development process. This part is intended for use by personnel responsible for the evaluation of software product quality and is applicable to developers, customers, and independent evaluators of products. This part is not applicable to the evaluation of other aspects of software products (such as functional requirements, process requirements, business requirements, etc.).
