WS/T 421-2013 Antifungal susceptibility testing of yeasts—Broth dilution method
Abstract
This standard specifies a reference method for determining the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of antifungal drugs against yeast-like fungi using the classic broth macrodilution method, and recommends a broth microdilution method that shows good consistency with the results of this reference method.
This standard applies to drug sensitivity tests for yeast and yeast-like fungi (causing deep fungal infections), including Candida spp. (including C. glabrata) and Cryptococcus neoformens. It is not applicable to dimorphic fungi, such as Blastomyces dermatitidis and Histoplasma capsulatum subsp. capsulatum.
