Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, protection level, general requirements, testing, inspection rules, marking, and user manuals for fire emergency lighting and evacuation indication systems.
This standard applies to fire emergency lighting and evacuation indication systems (hereinafter referred to as "systems") installed and used in general industrial and civil buildings, as well as systems with special performance installed in other environments (except where specific requirements are stipulated in other relevant standards).
