This document specifies the instrumentation, reagents, test preparation, sampling, test procedures, and result reporting for determining the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in petroleum waxes. This document is applicable to products such as food-grade paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax for food use, fully refined paraffin wax, and special packaging waxes.
