GB/T 21815.1-2008 Chemicals—Biodegradability in seawater—Shake flask method
Abstract
This part of GB/T 21815 specifies the method outline, test preparation, test procedures, quality assurance and quality control, data and reporting for the biodegradability test of chemicals in seawater using the shake-flask method. This part is applicable to testing and evaluating the biodegradability of organic substances that are soluble in water (with a solubility in water greater than 25 mg/L, measured in terms of C), do not suffer significant losses due to volatility during the test, and do not exhibit significant adsorption effects in seawater. This part is not applicable to organic substances with a solubility in water of less than 5 mg/L, measured in terms of C.
