GB/T 13748.4-2013 Chemical analysis methods of magnesium and magnesium alloys—Part 4:Determination of manganese content—Periodate spectrophotometric method
Abstract
This part of GB/T 13748 specifies the determination method for the manganese content in magnesium and magnesium alloys.
Method I of this part is applicable to the determination of manganese content in magnesium alloys (containing Zr, RE, Th, Ag). The determination range is 0.050% to 2.70%.
Method II of this part is applicable to the determination of manganese content in magnesium and magnesium alloys (not containing Zr, RE, Th, Ag). The determination range is 0.010% to 0.80%.
Method III of this part is applicable to the determination of manganese content in primary magnesium ingots. The determination range is 0.0005% to 0.010%.
