GB/T 4162-2008 Forged and rolled steel bars—Method for ultrasonic testing
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, and inspection procedures for ultrasonic testing of forged and rolled steel bars, the evaluation of inspection results, quality grades, and records and reports. This standard is applicable to ultrasonic (longitudinal or transverse) pulse reflection method (contact method or immersion method) testing of forged and rolled steel bars with a diameter (thickness) of 12 mm to 250 mm. Other forged and rolled steel bars can also be used for reference. This standard is not applicable to austenitic coarse-grained steel bars.
