GB/T 7247.4-2016 Safety of laser products—Part 4:Laser guards
Abstract
This part of "Safety of Laser Products" specifies the requirements for permanent and temporary (such as for maintenance) laser protective screens used to enclose the working area of laser processing machines, as well as the technical requirements for dedicated laser protective screens.
This part applies to all components of protective screens, including visually transparent screens and windows, fences, laser protective curtains, and protective walls (see Appendix G). The requirements for optical path components, beam terminators, and other parts in the protective covers of unenclosed processing areas of laser products are included in GB 7247.1-2012.
This part also points out:
a) How to evaluate and standardize the protective performance of laser protective screens (see Appendix F);
b) How to select laser protective screens.
