GB 25286.5-2010 Non-electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres—Part 5:Protection by constructional safety "c"
Abstract
1.2 This part is a supplement to the requirements of GB 25286.1, and the provisions of GB 25286.1 apply to all structure-safe equipment.
1.3 Equipment that meets the relevant provisions of this part meets the requirements of the following levels:
——Class I Mb-level equipment;
——Class II Ga- or Gb-level equipment;
——Class III Da- or Db-level equipment.
Note: The national standard for Class I Ma-level equipment is currently being developed. The standard EN50303 can be referred to, which stipulates the requirements for Class I M1-level (corresponding to Class Ma in this part) equipment, including the requirements for electrical and non-electrical equipment.
1.4 The ignition protection types specified in this part can be used independently or in combination with other ignition protection types to meet the requirements of Class I Ma-level and Mb-level, Class II Ga-level, Gb-level, or Class III Da-level and Db-level equipment determined according to the ignition hazard assessment in GB 25286.1.
