This standard specifies the names of various parts, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for aluminum pistons cast for internal combustion engines.
This standard applies to aluminum pistons cast for reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter not exceeding 200 mm (hereinafter referred to as pistons).
