GB 4053.1-2025 Safety requirements for fixed metal ladders and platform—Part 1:Vertical ladders
Abstract
This document specifies the basic safety requirements for the design, manufacture, and installation of fixed metal straight ladders (referred to as "straight ladders" for short), including general requirements for straight ladders and their accessories, structural requirements for straight ladders, fall protection devices, platform between floors, door at the entrance of the ladder and self-closing doors, user manuals, and warning information.
This document applies to fixed metal straight ladders used in workplaces of industrial enterprises.
This document does not apply to fixed metal straight ladders installed in nuclear facilities, ships, lifting machinery, transmission towers, mast-type towers, communication towers, and meteorological towers.
