Abstract
This standard specifies an approximate method for determining the typical material capacity of loaders and front-end excavators' buckets. The capacity is determined based on the dimensions of the bucket's inner wall and the volume of the material at the pile's top. For buckets of different structural shapes, the bucket capacity is calculated by dividing the material loaded into the bucket into several simple geometric shapes. The purpose of this standard is to provide a unified method for comparing bucket capacities, rather than determining the actual bucket capacity in various usage scenarios.
