Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fuel injector assemblies for electronically controlled common rail fuel injection systems used in diesel engines.
This standard applies to fuel injector assemblies for electronically controlled common rail fuel injection systems used in automobiles, construction machinery, generators, and marine diesel engines (hereinafter referred to as common rail fuel injectors).
