GB/T 4934.2-2008 Instrument for soil test—Shear apparatus—Part 2:Field vane shear apparatus
Abstract
This part of GB/T 4934 specifies the types, structural components, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage of on-site cross-plate shear testers (hereinafter referred to as cross-plate shear testers). This part applies to cross-plate shear testers used for on-site determination of the undrained strength and sensitivity of saturated clay soils, with a depth not exceeding 30 m.
