GB/T 15579.1-2013 Arc welding equipment—Part 1:Welding power sources
Abstract
This part of GB 15579 specifies the safety and performance requirements for arc welding power sources and plasma cutting systems.
This part applies to power sources used for arc welding and similar processes, which are designed for industrial and professional purposes and are powered by voltages specified in Table 1 of IEC 60038 or driven by mechanical equipment.
This part does not apply to manual arc welding power sources with limited loads, which are primarily intended for use by non-professionals.
This part does not apply to the inspection of welding power sources that are currently in the maintenance cycle or have just undergone repairs.
