Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates, as well as the contents of purchase orders (or contracts) for sponge titanium.
This standard applies to sponge titanium produced by the vacuum distillation method of magnesium reduction of titanium tetrachloride (referred to as the magnesium method).
