This standard specifies the grade and accuracy requirements, technical methods, workflow, and distance calculation methods for medium- and short-range distance measurement using optical-electronic rangefinders (including total stations) with a measuring range of up to 15 km. This standard is applicable to medium- and short-range optical-electronic rangefinding in surveying operations such as control surveying, topographic surveying, and engineering surveying.
