Abstract
This part of GB/T 19701 specifies the requirements for ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) molding materials (such as plates and rods) used in surgical implants and the corresponding test methods.
This part does not apply to products directly molded into their final form, irradiated products, or finished products, nor to products made from polyethylene containing additives or materials blended from different types of polyethylene.
