GB/T 5959.41-2019 Safety in elcctroheating installations—Part 41:Particular requirements for resistance heating equipment—Heating and melting glass equipment
Abstract
This part applies to indirect resistance heating equipment used for glass heating and melting in the first voltage zone and the second voltage zone. These special requirements also apply to equipment for direct resistance heating and melting glass, where current flows through the electrodes to heat the furnace materials.
The purpose of this part is to specify the safety requirements for indirect and direct resistance heating equipment used for glass heating and melting.
Note: The removal of liquid glass or similar materials at the discharge port is part of the production process and does not fall under the operation of electric heating equipment.
This part also applies to the safety requirements of the electrical part of electric heating systems combined with other heating methods, such as liquid fuel heating.
Due to process reasons, these requirements do not apply to direct resistance heating equipment covered by GB 5959.3, GB 5959.2, and GB 5959.8.
