Abstract
This standard defines the basic and commonly used terms for various rolling mills and their auxiliary equipment, as well as deep processing equipment for rolled materials used in the pressure processing of steel and non-ferrous metals.
This standard applies to general engineering terms, heating furnaces, rolling mill names, work stands and roller drives, major components of rolling mills, shearing equipment, straightening equipment, conveying and guiding equipment, heat treatment finishing equipment, surface processing equipment, rolled material collection and bundling equipment, deep processing equipment for rolled materials, cooling and lubrication equipment, inspection, control and automation systems, and other related terms and their definitions and/or explanations.
