GA 124-2004 Self-contained positive pressure air breathing apparatus for fire fighter
Abstract
This standard specifies the models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and other requirements for positive-pressure firefighting air respirators. This standard applies to positive-pressure firefighting air respirators (hereinafter referred to as "respirators") used by firefighters and rescue personnel to prevent inhalation of toxic gases, smoke, and harmful pollutants suspended in the air, or for use in oxygen-deficient environments during firefighting or rescue operations.
