This document specifies two test methods for determining the gas permeability of plastic films and sheets, as well as multilayer structural materials, under pressure differential conditions—the pressure sensor method and gas chromatography. This document is applicable to the determination of the gas permeability of plastic films and sheets. The determination of the gas permeability of other materials can be used as a reference.
