Abstract
This standard specifies an accelerated corrosion and wear method for detecting the nickel release from coated metal accessories in textile products before testing their nickel release.
This standard is applicable to metal accessories of textile products, such as zippers, buttons, rivets, decorative chains, and badges, which have metal coatings, varnish, or plastic coatings on their surfaces and are used for measuring the nickel release.
