Abstract
This part of GB/T 22078 specifies the test methods and requirements for fixed-installation cross-linked polyethylene insulated cable systems, cables, and their accessories with a rated voltage of 500 kV (Um=550 kV). This test requirement applies to single-core cables and their accessories under normal installation and operating conditions, but not to special cables and their accessories, such as submarine cables. For special cables, it may be necessary to modify the test methods in this part or to design special test conditions. This part does not include transition joints for cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables and paper-insulated cables.
