Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining amino acids in food using an amino acid analyzer (indole-3-ketone post-column derivatization and ion exchange chromatograph).
This standard is applicable to the determination of acid-hydrolyzed amino acids in food, including 16 amino acids: aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, histidine, lysine, and arginine.
