Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of electric compressor assemblies for automotive air conditioning systems. This standard applies to electric motor-driven scroll air conditioning compressor assemblies with a refrigerant of HFC-134a, a displacement of greater than or equal to 10 cm3/r and less than or equal to 40 cm3/r.
