Abstract
The purpose of this standard is to help users choose a copier that meets their individual requirements. This standard specifies the basic content that should be included in the copier specification sheet, making it easier for users to directly compare the performance of different machines. When no other standards are available, this standard also specifies tests for copiers to verify the parameters given in the specification sheet. This standard applies to copiers operated in office environments. It does not consider copiers that require special equipment or those that require specially trained operators to operate them.
