Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of hinges (hinges) used in building doors and windows.
This standard applies to hinges (hinges) used in building casement doors and casement windows. It does not apply to hinges used in frameless casement glass doors, hinges (hinges) used in screen doors and windows, and hinges (hinges) used in folding doors and windows.
