Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, and markings for surface drifting buoys.
This standard applies to surface drifting buoys that use the Argos data collection and positioning system (hereinafter referred to as the "Argos system") or the Beidou satellite navigation system (hereinafter referred to as the "Beidou system") for positioning and data transmission.
