Abstract
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of industrial stearic acid.
This standard applies to industrial stearic acid obtained by refining animal and vegetable oils after hydrolysis (mainly composed of octadecanoic acid and hexadecanoic acid). Industrial stearic acid is widely used in industries such as rubber, plastics, textile dyeing, daily chemical products, and precision casting.
