This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, and test methods for biodiesel (BD100) used in the blending of diesel engine fuels, as well as inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to the blending components of compression-ignition engines used in automobiles, tractors, diesel locomotives, construction machinery, and generator sets, among others.
